At Calvary Chapel Pahrump Valley, small groups are called Life Groups. Why the name? It’s because life happens when God’s people gather together in Jesus’ name.
A Life Group is a group of believers who have new life through Jesus Christ. They share that life with each other and with people around them who need it. That is the goal of every Life Group.
- 1 John 5:11-12 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
Life Groups may be different in some respects, but they all follow the simple habits of the early church described in the book of Acts. Every group is interactive, relational, and focused on others.
- Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
